Went there for the first time today (Sunday) and was delicious. Good coffee, biscuits, tenderloin, sausage and more. Very friendly and happy staff. Prices are best in town! We will be back and can't wait to try some of their lunch specials
People were very friendly Food was very good Neat and clean on the inside Price very reasonable Catfish was sooo good Picked beets and butter beans and slaw cornbread was on the money
Eat here with my parents all The time. The prices are pretty amazing and the food is similar in style to Cracker Barrel... country southern food with the NC twist... I.e. Pepsi and hush puppies served as appetizers
Had gone past it many times and this was my first time stopping in. Food was very good and fairly priced and our waitress was attentive. Only thing I will say is it was funny to me that they have sides listed as vegetables and then have things such as applesauce in it.
I live in the area and have passed this restaurant many, many times. On a whim, I stopped today for lunch. I am so glad I did. The food was excellent. The service was superior. Staff and other consumers were friendly. In addition to enjoying the food, I enjoyed the experience.
Good down-home food. Fried chicken, country fried steak, flounder, great local veggies. Served fast. Venue is pretty much grandmas country kitchen. Tile floors, simple place. Nice place.
Extended days with breakfast hours! Now, Thursday through Sunday! This visit he enjoyed link sausage, eggs, grits, and toast. I had tenderloin and gravy, eggs, toast and hash browns. Ugh, I'm not a fan of the hash browns. They had an off taste. Next time, I'll try home fries. We're just glad we can have breakfast together on our day off during the week.
